Translocate is a service dedicated to sharing venues and locations where transgender people can feel safe to be themselves in and around Nottingham.

All locations on this map are picked and vetted by The Pastel Project, Trans-Friendly Spaces in Nottingham, and ourselves at Translocate.

Translocate is also working hard to catalog all the toilets and bathrooms that are accessible to trans people as well as anyone else who might need accessable toilets.

We will be locating gender neutral toilets around Nottingham and logging which ones require a RADAR key to access.

If you don't already have a RADAR key you can buy them online for reasonably cheap, or if you'd like to support translocate you can buy one from us directly online here, or find us at events!

Transloocate Scoring System

Stars are awarded for features within 5 catagories, and have 3 possible ratings per catagory. A full star, a half star or an empty star. If a venue fails in a catagory it will not receive a star for that catagory.

A venue with a lower star count doesn't mean a venue is a bad place to be, the standards for translocate are really high on purpose to really shine a light on "golden standard" venues. All venues on the map have earned their place.

Unlocked accessible toilet, open to all
Accessible toilet locked by a RADAR lock, open to those with a key
Accessible toilet is locked by staff, requring someone to unlock it for you

Sanitary Product Avaiability
Free sanitary products are avalable in all toilets, regardless of gender
Sanitary product vending machines are avalable in all toilets, regardless of gender
Sanitary producs avalable in "Womens" toilets only
